Create a passport-style photo for printing or online forms
This tool helps you prepare a portrait in a passport-style layout and can place multiple copies on a printable sheet. It is intended as a formatting aid; official photo rules are set by the authority receiving the application, and those rules can differ by country, document type and portal.
Start with the right source photo
Use a clear, recent image with the face in focus and even lighting. Avoid strong shadows, beauty filters, heavy retouching or a background that blends into the subject. A higher-resolution source gives you more room to crop without losing facial detail.
Size is only one requirement
An official application may specify physical dimensions, pixel dimensions, background color, head size, eye position, expression, file format and maximum file size. Selecting a preset here does not automatically certify the image for a specific application. Check the current instructions on the official application website before submitting.
Printable sheet tips
When printing, choose the correct paper size and avoid printer settings that silently scale the sheet to fit. Automatic scaling can change the physical dimensions of each photo. For important documents, measure one printed copy with a ruler before printing the full set.
For digital submission
If the online portal also imposes a KB limit, prepare the crop and dimensions first, then use the Photo Size Reducer or Image Compressor. This avoids destroying detail too early in the workflow.
Before using a passport-style photo
This tool helps with dimensions, cropping and printable layout, but an application can also require rules about background, head position, facial expression, shadows, glasses, file size or recent-photo age. Always check the requirements published by the organisation receiving the photo.
Use a suitable source photo
Start with a sharp, evenly lit image where the full head and shoulders are visible. Avoid screenshots or heavily compressed social-media copies because enlarging them can make edges and facial detail look soft.
Pixels are not the same as print size
Online forms usually specify pixel dimensions or file size, while physical prints may specify millimetres or inches. The same pixel image can print at different physical sizes depending on print settings and resolution.
Privacy and limitations
Image processing happens in the browser. Creating the requested dimensions does not guarantee that a government, employer, school or exam portal will accept the photo, so compare the result with that portal's official specification before submitting it.
