Diagnose HDR capability and signal path with evidence first

Record the display model, connection type, HDR capability reported by Windows, and whether the issue is missing HDR, washed-out colors, black screen, or HDR failing only in one app.

Check HDR on the desktop, in Windows HDR settings, and in one known HDR-capable app or video. If only one app fails, keep the repair at that app or content path.
