Windows ↔ WSL Path Converter

Convert Windows drive paths to the default WSL /mnt/ form, or turn WSL paths back into Windows-accessible paths. The converter runs locally and does not upload the path.

Used when converting a Linux-only path such as /home/name.
Enter a Windows or WSL path. Auto detect will choose the direction.

What the converter assumes

By default, WSL mounts Windows drives under /mnt/<drive>. For Linux files viewed from Windows, WSL exposes distribution paths through \\wsl$\<Distro>\... or \\wsl.localhost\<Distro>\.... If you changed WSL automount settings, use wslpath inside WSL for authoritative translation.

A normal network share such as \\server\share is not automatically a WSL mount, so the tool refuses to invent a potentially wrong Linux path.

Source and privacy note

Path behavior was reviewed against Microsoft Learn WSL interop documentation. Conversion runs in JavaScript in this page; the entered path is not sent to an ITFixLab conversion service.
