Acceptance and account eligibility
By using ITFixLab you agree to follow these Terms of Use and applicable law. Public Guides, Fixes and Tools can be used without an account. For the first public account/community release, account registration and community participation are limited to people who are 18 years of age or older.
When you create an account, you confirm that you meet the account age requirement and accept the versions of the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines shown at signup.

Educational and informational content
ITFixLab provides troubleshooting guides, explainers and browser-based utilities for general informational and educational purposes. Technology changes over time, so instructions may not work in every environment. Back up important data and review warnings before making significant system changes.

Your account
You are responsible for protecting your password and for activity performed through your account. Use an email address you control, choose a permitted unique username, and do not impersonate another person, company, moderator or ITFixLab itself.
Your email address is used for account access and recovery and is not displayed on your public profile. Username changes may be limited to protect identity and moderation history.

Community participation
Community features must stay connected to technology help, useful discussion, ITFixLab fixes/tools/links, or related learning. Spam, scams, harassment, impersonation, malicious links or code, deliberate harmful misinformation, privacy violations and abuse are prohibited.
The full rules are in the Community Guidelines. We may remove content or restrict accounts when needed to protect users or the service.

Free and Premium accounts
ITFixLab may offer different account tiers. Core public help is not made private merely because accounts exist. Free and Premium features, limits and pricing may change as the product develops, and any paid plan will show its current terms before purchase.
Premium features are not promised until they are actually launched. If custom-avatar upload is available to your plan, you must have the right to use the image and must not use it to impersonate another person or organisation or to display unlawful or abusive content. ITFixLab may remove profile media that violates these terms or the Community Guidelines.

Free-account inactivity
A free account becomes eligible for deletion after 100 consecutive days without authenticated activity. We intend to warn the account holder before deletion. Signing in resets the inactivity timer.
While an account has an active Premium subscription, the standard free-account inactivity rule does not apply. If Premium ends, the free-account rule resumes and the inactivity period begins from the later of the Premium expiry date or the user's last authenticated activity.

Account deletion and public contributions
You may request deletion of your account through ITFixLab support. Account-linked private data may be deleted subject to legitimate security, fraud-prevention or legal retention needs.
If public community contributions exist, useful posts or comments may remain so discussions do not break, but the account identity should be removed and the contribution displayed as coming from Deleted User where practical. Deleted-account saved progress may not be recoverable.

Browser and cloud data
Some ITFixLab experiences store progress locally in your browser. Account/profile information is stored separately in cloud services used for authentication and account data. Local browser data is not a guaranteed backup and may remain on a device after account logout or deletion unless you clear it.

Prohibited use
Do not intentionally damage ITFixLab, bypass security controls, abuse rate limits, distribute malware, phish for credentials, scrape or republish substantial content as your own, interfere with other users, or use ITFixLab for unauthorized access or unlawful activity.

Accuracy, warranties and technical risk
We work to keep guidance useful and current, but we do not guarantee that every page, tool or community contribution is error-free, complete, continuously available or compatible with every device. Troubleshooting can involve data loss, configuration changes or service interruption. Read our Disclaimer before high-impact changes.

Policy versions and changes
ITFixLab records the policy versions accepted when an account is created. Material changes may require account holders to review and accept updated policies before continuing to use affected account/community features.
Marketing consent is separate from account creation and is optional. Creating an account does not by itself subscribe you to promotional email.
