01

Who can participate

For Community V1, account registration and community participation are limited to people aged 18 or older. Public ITFixLab help remains available without an account.

02

Keep it useful and on-topic

Use community features for technology questions, fixes, tools, links, learning, troubleshooting outcomes and related discussion. Do not flood the service with unrelated promotion, repetitive posts or engagement bait.

03

Respect other people

No harassment, threats, targeted abuse, hateful attacks, sexual exploitation, stalking, bullying or attempts to intimidate another user. Critique ideas and technical advice without attacking the person.

04

No scams, impersonation or deceptive identity

Do not impersonate ITFixLab, staff, moderators, companies or other people. Do not use fake support messages, phishing, fraudulent offers, deceptive links or social engineering to obtain credentials, money or access.

05

Security and malware

Do not distribute malware, credential stealers, destructive payloads, malicious scripts or instructions intended for unauthorized access. Legitimate defensive/security discussion must stay within lawful, authorized contexts and should not expose other users to dangerous executable content.

06

Protect privacy and secrets

Do not post another person's private information without permission. Never post passwords, one-time codes, recovery phrases, private keys, full payment-card details or similar secrets. If someone accidentally shares sensitive data, report it instead of amplifying it.

07

Technical accuracy matters

Do not knowingly post fake fixes, fabricated results or dangerous instructions presented as safe. When a fix has meaningful risk, say what it changes and what the user should back up or verify first.

08

Spam and commercial behaviour

No mass promotion, referral spam, repetitive affiliate posting, unsolicited advertising or automated posting that degrades discussion. Relevant links are allowed when they genuinely help and any material commercial relationship should be clear.

09

Copyright and lawful content

Share only material you have the right to share. Do not use ITFixLab to distribute pirated software, stolen credentials, illegal content or material that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

10

Moderation

ITFixLab may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts or take other proportionate action when these guidelines are violated or when action is needed to protect users, infrastructure or discussion quality. Repeated or severe abuse may lead to permanent account removal.

11

Reports, blocks and mistakes

Report harmful content or account abuse through the Contact page until in-product reporting tools are available. Moderation can make mistakes; provide the relevant username, URL and context if you ask us to review a decision.

12

Deleted accounts and contribution history

If an account is deleted, useful public posts or comments may remain so troubleshooting threads still make sense, but the account identity should be removed and shown as Deleted User where practical.

13

Profile images and identity

Use only profile images you have the right to use. Do not impersonate another person, organisation or ITFixLab staff, and do not use profile media for harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, scams or other unlawful content.

Simple rule: Be useful, be safe, respect privacy, and do not turn tech-help features into a weapon, scam or spam channel.
