What AI enhancement can and cannot do
Super-resolution can make a low-resolution image larger and often cleaner, but it cannot guarantee a perfect restoration. Heavy motion blur, covered faces and completely missing details cannot always be reconstructed accurately. Review important images before using them.

Why can enhancement take time?
The AI model runs on your device. The first use includes downloading the model, and processing speed depends on the browser, memory and graphics hardware.
Will it fix every blurry photo?
No. It may improve resolution and clarity, but it cannot reliably recreate every missing detail in a severely blurred image.
What an AI upscaler can realistically improve
Upscaling can make an image larger and may smooth or reconstruct some edges, but it cannot recover the exact original detail that was never captured. Small text, faces and heavily compressed areas can be guessed incorrectly, so compare the enhanced preview with the source before relying on it.
Use the original whenever possible
A screenshot or messaging-app copy may already contain compression artefacts. Starting from the camera or original exported file gives the model more information to work with and usually produces a cleaner result.
Performance on phones and older devices
The enhancement model runs in the browser and can require significant memory and processing power. Very large images may be slow or fail on devices with limited resources; crop or resize the source first if necessary.
Privacy and model loading
The image processing itself runs locally, while the browser loads the required JavaScript/model files from a content-delivery network. ITFixLab does not require an account or upload the selected image to an ITFixLab server for enhancement.
